The story is about a woman, Saphora Warren, her husband, Bender, and their family and friends.

While reading the book, you get from Saphora that she has a good life, from the material possession point of view. However, as you read, it becomes apparent that her life is empty emotionally. As the story begins she is hosting a garden party for Southern Living magazine. It is after this party that she decides to pack her bags and leave her vacant life behind. When she gets ready to walk away from her life her husband comes home early with some devastating news: he is dying.

As you are reading the book, you wonder why she has decided to stay with Bender and take care of him as he fights his illness. This is where the book takes you and lets you explore Saphora and her feelings and wonders why she is in this current situation.

This book is very emotional and page-turning. It is engaging, powerful and I don’t think anyone should pass up the chance to read this wonderful book. I would definitely recommend this book to my family and friends to read.

I am so excited about christmas but I will be more excited once it has passed. It has become so commercialized that the true meaning of christmas is not even celebrated but basically it is overlooked. I do have to remember that not every body believes in a higher being so they are celebrating the holiday and not the meaning behind it. I am trying to celebrate the meaning behind the holiday and it can be pretty difficult if you get caught up in the hype and excitement. I do think that we should try to be kind and compassionate to our fellow man at this time, because not everyone is as fortunate as some of us are.

I read 66 Love Letters by Larry Crabb. The book was intriguing. Each book of the bible is written as a love letter from God. The approach is different and he is trying to help us to better understand the bible and what each book is conveying to us. I enjoyed the book because it helped me to understand why the books of the bible were written and to give us an idea of our purpose. I have finished reading the book, however, I will use it as a guide to study along with my bible.
